About The Position
Green Oaks of Valparaiso is hiring a PRN Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) in Valparaiso, Indiana. This part-time role delivers individualized care according to each resident’s care plan, monitors and reports changes in residents’ health, and builds compassionate connections with residents and their families. The QMA is also expected to protect confidential resident information, comply with applicable rules and regulations, and participate in learning and development activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification indicating successful completion of a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) program in the State of Indiana.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience.
- Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
- Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
