About The Position
Vivera Senior Living of Columbus is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide to deliver individualized care in accordance with each resident’s care plan. The aide reports changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team and builds compassionate, positive connections with residents and their family members. The role also involves ongoing learning, protecting the confidentiality and privacy of resident information, and completing other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification indicating successful completion of the Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) program in the State of Indiana.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
- Connect compassionately with residents and family members to create a positive experience.
- Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning and development opportunities.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
