About The Position
As a Qualified Medication Aide, you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships by learning about the life stories of our residents and staff. Requirements
- Successful completion of a state approved training program in medication administration.
- Indiana QMA license.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff. Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence
Responsibilities
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to exceed the needs of residents.
- Partner with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents.
- Support a respectful and positive work environment.
- Utilize skills to promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of the residents.
