About The Position

This is a part-time position for a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) working the 2nd shift. The role involves delivering exceptional and individualized care based on resident care plans, reporting changes in resident health, and connecting with residents and their families compassionately. Continuous learning and adherence to confidentiality regulations are also key aspects of the position. Any other duties as assigned will also be part of the role.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must hold certification indicating successful completion of Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) program in the State of Indiana
• Must possess current hands-on CPR and AED certification upon hire
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned
