About The Position

Merakey is seeking a PRN Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to join their team in Warminster, PA. The QIDP is responsible for serving as the primary advocate for individuals, ensuring monitoring functions are completed appropriately, and acting as the Program Specialist (PS). This role may involve a defined caseload, traveling to and being responsible for a defined number of homes in the community (SFR & CLP), and traveling to any day program for the individual. The QIDP serves as the liaison between the facility, the individual's family, and outside agencies. Supervision is provided by the Social Services Supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, liberal arts or human services related field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of experience working directly with persons with disabilities.
• Or a Master's degree in psychology, liberal arts or human services related field from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of experience working directly with persons with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary advocate for individuals.
• Ensure monitoring functions are completed appropriately.
• Act as the Program Specialist (PS).
• Travel to and be responsible for a defined number of homes in the community (SFR & CLP).
• Travel to any day program for the individual.
• Serve as the liaison between the facility, individual's family, and outside agencies.
