About The Position

Do you enjoy providing therapeutic services while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team? Join our team as a Qualified Behavioral Health Provider (QBHP)! As a QBHP, you will provide individual, group, family, and other therapeutic services to individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges. Working under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist, you will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based interventions, and support clients in achieving their personal recovery and wellness goals. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse populations across a variety of settings, including outpatient, community-based, school-based, and telehealth environments. Requirements

Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution required.
Must meet applicable state requirements for a Qualified Behavioral Health Provider and/or behavioral health professional.
Must be eligible to obtain full professional licensure through the applicable state licensing board.
Must complete all required clinical supervision hours and successfully pass applicable licensing examinations.
Must provide current copies of all applicable professional licenses and certifications.
Must be willing to obtain and maintain licensure in additional states as required by organizational needs.
Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current automobile insurance required.
Strong knowledge of diagnostic criteria and treatment approaches for mental health and/or substance use disorders.
Knowledge of behavioral health rehabilitation methods, principles, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
Understanding of the challenges experienced by individuals and families affected by mental health and/or substance use disorders.
Knowledge of applicable legal, ethical, regulatory, and documentation requirements.
Strong caseload management, organization, and time-management skills.
Ability to establish effective therapeutic relationships through in-person, telephone, and telehealth interactions.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to prepare clear, concise, and clinically appropriate documentation.
Ability to respond effectively to crisis situations while maintaining professional boundaries.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary treatment teams.
Ability to accept direction, clinical supervision, feedback, and coaching.
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, person-centered, and recovery-oriented care.
Proficiency with electronic health records, Microsoft Office, telehealth platforms, and other technology used to support clinical services.
Comfortable providing telehealth services; training will be provided.
Flexibility to provide services in multiple settings based on program needs.
Successful completion of background screening, including criminal history, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint checks.
Completion of New Hire Orientation upon hire.
Completion of all required training, including Relias training, upon hire and annually thereafter.
Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of automobile insurance.
Completion of Behavioral Management training within thirty (30) days of employment or at the first available class following the start date: CPI for Residential programs. Peaceful Intervention or Verbal De-escalation for Outpatient programs.
Demonstrate understanding of Collaborative Service Goals (CSGs) within thirty (30) days of employment.
Complete thirty-six (36) hours of required training within a two-year period in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
ASAM Programs: Complete fifty (50) hours of required training annually.
CPRC: Complete Growth and Development and Privileging and Credentialing forms within thirty (30) days of employment, as applicable.
Maintain knowledge of the policies, procedures, and regulations applicable to the assigned program.
Provide copies of all applicable professional licenses, certifications, and credentials.
Comply with all applicable state, federal, regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements.
Ability to perform sedentary work, including sitting for extended periods throughout the workday.
Frequent use of hands, fingers, and arms for typing, clinical documentation, and electronic health record management.
Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift materials weighing up to 10 pounds.
Ability to travel between office, community, school, and client locations as required by the assigned program.
Ability to work across office, clinical, community, school-based, and telehealth environments.
Ability to respond appropriately to crisis situations and follow established safety and intervention procedures.
Visual ability to read clinical documentation and work on computer screens for extended periods.
Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through telehealth platforms.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience providing behavioral health and/or substance use disorder services preferred.
Experience conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing therapy, or facilitating behavioral health groups preferred.
Experience working with individuals and families experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges preferred.
Experience providing telehealth services preferred.
Familiarity with court procedures and legal requirements related to behavioral health treatment preferred.
School-Based Services: Ability to provide services at assigned school sites during school operating hours when applicable.

Responsibilities

Provide individual, group, family, and other therapeutic services in a variety of settings under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist.
Conduct intake, screening, and comprehensive assessments within established regulatory, accreditation, and organizational timeframes.
Evaluate client needs and document diagnoses based on comprehensive assessment findings and applicable standards.
Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect assessment findings, client needs, strengths, and treatment goals.
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including counseling, psychotherapy, behavior modification, trauma-focused services, and co-occurring treatment as appropriate.
Facilitate individual and group counseling, family therapy, group education, and specialty behavioral health services.
Participate in clinical staffing, treatment team meetings, case reviews, and consultations.
Maintain an assigned caseload and meet department-specific Collaborative Service Goal (CSG) requirements.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure services are appropriately authorized and required information is submitted within established timeframes.
Maintain accurate, timely, and clinically appropriate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Ensure documentation reflects services provided, supports treatment plans, and complies with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
Identify and correct documentation, charting, and file deficiencies within established timeframes.
Assist clients and families with transitions in care and complete required transition summaries, plans, letters, and other correspondence.
Provide crisis intervention and participate in or coordinate emergency services when necessary.
Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, families, referral sources, coworkers, and community partners.
Provide clinical consultation and support to treatment team members within the scope of practice.
Provide training and guidance regarding clinical issues and evidence-based behavioral health practices as appropriate.
Represent the organization professionally within the community.
Participate in required supervision, meetings, training, professional development, and quality improvement activities.
Maintain compliance with professional ethics, organizational policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.
Support short- and long-term organizational goals and initiatives.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
