Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years Quality experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic knowledge of SAP or ERP Systems, such as Business Central
  • Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under supervision.
  • Ability to appropriately escalate issues and problems
  • Ability to organize workload for effective implementation.
  • Strong customer and results orientation.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity.
  • Ability to function as an effective team member.
  • Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Electronic Quality Management Systems (EQMS) preferred, but not required
  • Experience in the personal care and/or nutritional industries preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures Quality Assurance specifications are met by vendors of components and finished goods
  • Performs Acceptable Quality Level (A.Q.L.) inspections and performs sampling on all products received in the Distribution Center to ensure conformance to New Chapter, Inc. specifications and assist with investigations on any non-conformity found
  • Conducts line clearance inspection and A.Q.L inspections in Production
  • Maintains paperwork and a daily log on incoming inspections and input inspections
  • Assists with investigations and documentation within EQMS system all relevant quality documentation (deviations, investigations, CAPA, etc.)
  • Collects and retains samples from each lot of products after regular A.Q.L. Inspections and maintains relevant quality logs
  • Reviews and determines disposition of NCI batch records and packaged products
