About The Position
The Team Member greets and serves guests, prepares product, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, and handles or processes light paperwork. Exceptional guest service is a major component of this position.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed.
- Must be able to operate a computerized point of sale system/cash register.
- Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Subject to pre-employment background and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and prepare their orders with a cheerful and helpful manner, attempting to upsell and promote new items.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain them to guests accurately.
- Use the Point of Sale system/cash register to record orders, compute bills, collect payments, and make change.
- Perform cash counts at the start and end of shifts, accounting for all money and credit card receipts.
- Prepare food neatly, according to recipes, and in a timely manner.
- Check products in the sandwich unit area and restock items to ensure sufficient supply throughout the shift.
- Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during food preparation, service, and clean up.
- Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image.
- Understand and adhere to all quality standards, recipes, and procedures as outlined in the location operation manual.
- Perform light paperwork duties as assigned.
- Complete required training courses as directed.
