About The Position

The Team Member greets and serves guests, prepares product, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, and handles or processes light paperwork. Exceptional guest service is a major component of this position.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed.
  • Must be able to operate a computerized point of sale system/cash register.
  • Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Subject to pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and prepare their orders with a cheerful and helpful manner, attempting to upsell and promote new items.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain them to guests accurately.
  • Use the Point of Sale system/cash register to record orders, compute bills, collect payments, and make change.
  • Perform cash counts at the start and end of shifts, accounting for all money and credit card receipts.
  • Prepare food neatly, according to recipes, and in a timely manner.
  • Check products in the sandwich unit area and restock items to ensure sufficient supply throughout the shift.
  • Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during food preparation, service, and clean up.
  • Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image.
  • Understand and adhere to all quality standards, recipes, and procedures as outlined in the location operation manual.
  • Perform light paperwork duties as assigned.
  • Complete required training courses as directed.
