Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical degree.
- Significant product management experience in industrial automation, robotics, IoT, or embedded systems.
- Demonstrated ability to define and prioritize product requirements, balancing customer impact, business viability, and technical feasibility.
- Strong cross-functional knowledge spanning engineering, product strategy, finance, and marketing.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a track record of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ecosystem partnerships or build vs. buy decisions.
- Familiarity with industrial connectivity standards (OPC UA, Modbus, PROFINET).
- Knowledge and understanding the importance of regulatory compliance in embedded space (e.g. functional safety standards such as IEC 61508 and/or security standards such as IEC 62443).
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of multi-component solutions, from strategic planning through delivery and continuous improvement.
- Define integration strategies that turn building blocks into cohesive offerings.
- Partner with engineering and ecosystem partners to accelerate time-to-market for new verticals.
- Lead go-to-market strategy for new solution launches, aligning with QNX’s roadmap and business objectives.
- Act as the voice of the customer, synthesizing feedback from strategic accounts and market signals.
- Conduct competitive intelligence and market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Serve as a thought leader and brand ambassador, representing QNX at industry events, webinars, customer briefings, and executive-level engagements.
