Requirements

  • Solid understanding of ISO/SAE 21434 and familiarity with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and other automotive standards.
  • Exposure to EU CRA, IEC 62443, ETSI 303, and global cybersecurity regulations.
  • Experience in product security, engineering teams, certifications, and audits.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience with C/C++, Python, and embedded systems.

Responsibilities

  • Be the cybersecurity authority for development teams, guiding them to meet ISO/SAE 21434 standards and beyond.
  • Own and evolve the QNX Cybersecurity Management System—your ideas will drive improvements.
  • Dive deep into research and vulnerability analysis, uncovering risks before they become threats.
  • Review and refine project documentation to align with best-in-class security practices.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, providing expert product security support.
  • Lead Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) activities, ensuring compliance with ISO 21434.
  • Analyze software defects for security impact, working closely with developers to mitigate risks.
  • Verify and validate ISO 21434 work products for quality and compliance.
  • Advise on security testing strategies, helping teams strengthen their defenses.
  • Identify compliance gaps and implement process improvements, keeping us ahead of evolving standards.
  • Automate everything you can—from fuzz testing to vulnerability scanning and reporting.
