About The Position

The QMS Coordinator will be responsible to plan, coordinate and lead activities associated with sustaining the quality management system for the Mobility Group North America region. They will ensure that the quality management systems meet the multiple requirements of ISO/IATF-16949, Customer Requirements, EQMS, Mobility Group procedures and EBE by designing and simplifying processes to meet all requirements simultaneously. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum five (5) years of quality process knowledge.
  • Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Southfield, Galesburg and/or Marshall MI to be considered.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across all levels of organization.
  • Ability to manage workload (attention to detail, organization and prioritization skills).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Applications – Outlook, Excel, Teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Ten (10) years experience of quality process knowledge.
  • CQE, Six Sigma certification.
  • QMS, ISO9001 and IATF16949 experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work with functional leaders to understand, review and improve Quality System requirements.
  • Develop, deploy, and keep updated the training programs to address current and future competences needs.
  • Actively participates in cross-functional regional quality teams and QMS initiatives to assist in driving quality improvements, process improvements, business system enhancements and process standardization.
  • Support the development, analysis, and implementation of data feedback systems required to effectively evaluate the local Quality Management System.
  • Develop and mature regional and plant Quality Systems by becoming a regional expert and resource for ISO-IATF requirements.
  • Supports and coordinates the efforts and execution of the Fresh Eyes Audit (FEA), and internal audit process including maintaining audits records as evidence and the competency pool of internal quality auditors.
  • Become a regional certified Lead Auditor.
  • Become a regional asset for plant support activities including Launch Readiness Reviews, and Safe Launch.
  • Support core tool deployments, problem solving and quality training.
  • Develop the experience to become a regional trainer for ISO-IATF internal auditor competency.
  • Support, coordinate and mediate with 3rd Party Certifying Body as a Corporate Scheme contact representative for the region.
