About The Position

We are seeking a self-disciplined, well-coordinated, and persuasive professional to join our team as a Clinical Support Specialist. This role is part of the CK Behavioral Health program, supervised by the Behavioral Health Supervisor. The position engages directly with children, youth, and their parents using nationally recognized, evidence-based and research supported practices to increase well-being and promote positive outcomes. Program leadership provides training and ongoing coaching to certify Clinical Support Specialists as Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP). The ideal candidate must be self-disciplined, thorough, and value accuracy. In addition to direct client contact, the position is responsible for documentation and adherence to predetermined protocols, policies, and procedures with a high degree of accuracy. All services are provided in person.

Requirements

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field as specified in the Texas Administrative Code for QMHP qualifications.
Basic therapeutic skills.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational skills.
Experience and training in working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
Experience and training in working with children with severe emotional disturbances.
Experience and training in delivery of services based on curriculum.
