About The Position

American Village AL is now hiring a QMA. As a Qualified Medication Aide, you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships by learning about the life stories of our residents and staff. Each day, our QMAs utilize their skills to promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of the residents, leading to a rewarding sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. Requirements

  • Successful completion of a state approved training program in medication administration
  • Indiana QMA license
  • Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence

Responsibilities

  • Utilize skills to promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents
  • Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents
  • Promote teamwork within the care team to exceed the needs of residents
  • Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
  • Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents
  • Support a respectful and positive work environment
