QMA Lead
About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), the QMA Lead supports the coordination of the medication aide and nursing aide schedule. This role assists with various clerical duties, delivers exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan, and reports changes in resident health status to the clinical team. The QMA Lead connects with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience. Continuous learning and development are encouraged through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences. Compliance with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information is required. Any other duties as assigned will also be part of this role.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must hold certification indicating successful completion of Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) program in the State of Indiana
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
