About The Position

As a QHSE systems coordinator, the successful candidate will coordinate to ensure the effective implementation and management of quality, health, safety, and environmental systems within operations and supporting departments. This position will oversee the VENTOWER Integrated Management System (IMS) and ensure its associated standards are met at all levels of the business. This position requires the ability to collaborate with all associates across the hierarchy as well as suppliers and customers.

Requirements

  • Experience with ISO 9001, 45001, & 14001 Management Systems & Auditing
  • Professional interaction with business associates, customers, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Adobe Pro software.
  • The ability to travel as needed and be on call during off hours in the event of an accident, injury, or spill.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree and 2 years’ experience in quality, safety, environmental, or related role.
  • An equivalent combination of experience and education that enables success will be considered.
  • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification
  • OSHA 30 & OSHA 511 Certification for General Industry

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all regulatory & IMS requirements are planned, scheduled, completed, and kept on record.
  • Ensure all mandated communications are up to date and posted as required.
  • Ensure Ventower IMS remains in good standing and that its processes are functioning as intended.
  • Ensure all required documentation is retained and retrievable in accordance with required timelines.
  • Prepare and lead all QHSE required training, meetings, audits, document assessments, and reviews.
  • Prepare and lead the education, participation, and promotion of Ventower IMS processes.
  • Prepare and lead the identification and mitigation of risks and hazards and their severity.
  • Prepare annual management reviews ensuring all KPI dashboards are updated and accurate.
  • Facilitate development & improvement of QHSE-related procedures, work instructions, and forms.
  • Facilitate background checks, physical screening, and new hire training during onboarding activities.
  • Facilitate and support department heads with continued training & communications within their team.
  • Perform, lead, plan, and coordinate internal and supplier QHSE related audits.
  • Perform, lead, plan, and coordinate root cause analysis and corrective action for any major non-conformities and citations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for accident, injury, and spill reporting.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer and PEO audits as they pertain to QHSE.
  • Provide trend and analysis reporting needed to support business sales, profitability, and market share.
