Food Services - Qdoba Utility Worker (FWS/NFWS)
About The Position
Purpose within the Organization: The purpose of this position is to assist the Food Services department by acting as a Utility Worker for Qdoba. Responsibilities Related to Purpose: Sweep, mop, take out trash, wash dishes and preform other tasks as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures. Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury. Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment: Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program. Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student. Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University. You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
Requirements
- Must comply with any dress code and PPE requirements
- Must have a Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card and non-slip shoes
- Willingness to be open to learning and growing

- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Must be able to work weekday mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program
