The Quality Control Technician (QC Tech) is an employee in the Quality Control Department. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that all products manufactured in the plant fulfill the customer's expectations in terms of food safety and product quality. The QC Technician will assist in monitoring and ensuring conformance to specifications for incoming raw product, packaging material, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods. This role requires ensuring compliance with GMP's (Good Manufacturing Processes), Federal, State, and local food protection standards. The QC Technician is responsible for assisting other Company Leaders and Supervisors on issues related to food safety, product quality, and continuous improvement. Job stations include Wash Line, Pack Out, Clam Shells, Vacuum Tube, and Shipping Dock.
