About The Position

Inspect finished product to ensure quality product standards are met. Work to ensure packaging associates can determine a quality product as defined by industry and customer standards.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the job including, but not limited to standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds and communicating effectively with co-workers.

Responsibilities

  • Use visual observation and manual dexterity when inspecting the product using calipers, gauges, and tape measures.
  • Make decisions quickly and react to problems when they occur.
  • Verbally communicate with Quality Assurance Manager and Production Supervisor’s to prevent and correct quality related issues using company telephones and intercom system.
  • Maintain the quality and consistency of the product.
  • Check density, and all other quality related items and document all information to ensure that the product will meet customer specifications according to written and verbal instructions.
  • Understand the essential job functions of Quality Assurance for area assigned.
  • Perform and document product inspection as defined in Q.A. Manual to include but not limited to Wall Thickness, I.D., Length and Width Dimensions, Product Print, Talc, Skin Appearance, Packaging Piece Count, Carton and Carton Labeling.
