About The Position

This role involves collecting aggregate samples, conducting routine testing to ensure product quality and compliance, and supporting troubleshooting efforts. The position requires collaboration with production and quality teams, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring proper equipment calibration and safe work areas.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field preferred, with experience in aggregate, mining, and construction environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured field and lab procedures.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work and working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating drones or holding a valid drone license is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Collect aggregate samples from pits, quarries, stockpiles, autosamplers, and production belts following standardized procedures.
• Travel regularly to remote sites to validate materials, interact with site personnel, and transport samples back to the lab.
• Conduct routine sampling and testing of materials to ensure product quality and compliance including sieve analysis, gradation checks, moisture content tests, and other aggregate-related tests.
• Support troubleshooting efforts by identifying quality issues and contributing to corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams while maintaining accurate records, proper equipment calibration, and safe, organized work areas.
