Supervise the daily activities of Quality Control Inspectors, including work assignments, prioritization, and overall team direction. Perform and support receiving, first article, in-process, non-destructive testing (NDT), and final inspections as needed. Provide immediate support to resolve issues affecting inspection processes and production schedules. Ensure inspection activities are completed accurately and in accordance with established quality standards and procedures. Train and develop inspectors on work instructions, inspection methods, measurement techniques, and quality processes. Communicate staffing, equipment, and operational needs to the Quality Manager. Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Material Review Board (MRB), and Quality teams to resolve nonconforming material in a timely manner. Assist the Quality Manager with developing and implementing new inspection processes and work instructions. Monitor inspection processes and recommend continuous improvement opportunities. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and procedural requirements. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and quality throughout the inspection organization. Perform other duties as assigned.
