About The Position

Banesco USA is seeking a QC New Accounts Specialist II for our Operations Department. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of account documentation and data entry, adhering to bank policies and data security protocols. The specialist will collaborate with team members, address discrepancies, and maintain high data quality standards within established service level agreements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
  • 2 years in banking operations or retail banking.
  • 1 year of account opening experience including Business and Consumer.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data entry and auditing.
  • Proficient and advanced computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, etc.), using spreadsheets and data entry software.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with data management tools and software. Knowledge of basic data validation techniques.
  • Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish. Ability to fluently speak, understand, read and write both languages.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multi-task, with strong organization, time-management and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong customer service skills, ensuring satisfaction with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible to change; comfortable with ambiguity when dealing with new tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, working with integrity and ethically, upholding organizational values.

  • Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently ensuring timely deliverables.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience using the Jack Henry Core system is preferred.
  • Previous experience with Domestic and International profiles is preferred.
  • Previous dedicated experience in quality control or auditing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all required documentation is provided at the time of account review and that the information on the documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Verify that all required documentation provided is listed and accepted as per bank policies.
  • Ensure that data is entered accurately and efficiently into designated databases and systems.
  • Double-check data entries and documentation to identify errors and escalate for correction when needed to maintain high data quality.
  • Review CIF on the bank’s systems to ensure that the system input matches the corresponding account documentation, including all CIP for domestic, international, personal, and business accounts.
  • Collaborate with team members, including those in other departments, to address any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Adhere to data security protocols to maintain confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Report and, if needed, escalate any concerns related to data quality or security to the supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Provide support to team members in data-related tasks and projects, especially those that streamline processes without compromising security.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth data flow and address any data-related queries.
  • Complete QC reviews within a reasonable and established SLA.
  • Ensure that corrected information is completed accurately and within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Maintain and monitor an exception log for missing, incomplete, or inaccurate account documentation, and follow up with relevant branches or departments until resolution.
  • Perform other functions and/or duties as assigned.
