Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Life Sciences
  • Relevant experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Environmental Monitoring experience preferred
  • Microbial identification procedure knowledge
  • Knowledge cGMP is a plus
  • Experience with LIMS preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform environmental monitoring of GMP manufacturing and process areas.
  • Collect samples from high-purity water, clean steam, and compressed gas systems to support quality and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct routine utility testing in accordance with established procedures.
  • Use the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to track samples, test results, and laboratory activities.
  • Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies, microbiological media, and reagents to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Support the coordination of equipment maintenance, calibration, and laboratory readiness activities.
  • Assist with the training and onboarding of team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Perform basic microbial identification and data review, as assigned.
  • Conduct acceptance testing of commercially prepared microbiological culture media, as applicable.
  • Participate in an on-call, overtime, and weekend rotation to support business and operational needs.
