The QC Laboratory Technician is a bench position that performs routine testing for raw materials, intermediates, and final products within a cGMP environment.

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, be flexible in terms of work hours, and have strong knowledge and experience in analytical scientific skills.
  • The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
  • Up to 2 years’ experience in a cGMP laboratory with high school diploma.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily verification of laboratory equipment (pH meters and Analytical balances) as needed.
  • Performs chemical inventory and orders laboratory materials.
  • Completes sanitation checklists and is responsible for laboratory cleanliness (dishes and bench tops).
  • Documents quality checks of laboratory equipment (fridge, eyewash stations, and sieves) as applicable.
  • Performs testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products as needed.
  • Performs instrument qualification and maintenance as needed upon request.
  • Revise SOPs, Worksheets, and Forms.
  • Other duties as assigned.
