QC Lab Technician
About The Position
The QC Lab Technician is responsible for conducting quality control analyses, entering and reporting results, and processing quality-related deviations. The role helps ensure products meet specified standards and are safe, reliable, and compliant with internal and external requirements. The technician performs routine laboratory testing, documents and reviews results, reports and escalates quality issues, and conducts first-level testing for out-of-specification results. The role also includes maintaining assigned laboratory equipment and supporting lab operations as needed, while following GMP, safety, health, and environmental guidelines.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in quality control.
- Fluency in the local language.
- Familiarity with and knowledge of various benchtop analytical instruments.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of other languages is encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Independently perform routine quality control analyses according to established procedures.
- Prepare, execute, and accurately document testing activities.
- Review test results for accuracy and consistency before submission.
- Identify and report quality deviations, including out-of-specification results, according to protocols.
- Conduct initial testing for out-of-specification results as directed by procedures.
- Identify recurring problems and escalate them to the appropriate person or team.
- Maintain assigned laboratory equipment, including calibration and basic maintenance, in accordance with GMP and safety standards.
- Complete tests and submit results within required timeframes.
- Follow safety, health, and environmental guidelines.
- Perform other tasks as needed to support laboratory operations.
