Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required
One year supervisory experience required

Responsibilities

Meet with Quality Control Manager to communicate on safety, quality, production, production scheduling, and equipment requirements.
Maintain assigned areas of responsibility in a clean, neat, and orderly manner to ensure a safe and healthful work environment.
Maintain QC Lab and Calibration systems to ensure product meets customer and BGF requirements.
Communicate Quality performance to manufacturing areas to aid in corrective action and continuous improvement.
Lead and assist in quality problem investigations, resolutions, and dispositions.
Walk area of responsibility to determine any corrective actions related to employee assignments, safety, quality, training, or communication.
Communicate with customers as needed on quality-related issues.
Travel to customers or vendors as needed for quality-related issues.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and update all laboratory equipment.
Manage lab supplies as needed.
Manage supporting work and projects from Process Engineers.
Monitor data trends in chemicals, yarn, & fabric properties and report any concerns to the applicable departments.
Monitor performance of lab data to specifications and initiate changes to specifications as applicable.
Perform appropriate written documentation related to attendance, job performance, training, or employee issues.
Perform computer operations as required.
Perform any other assignments as directed by the Quality Control Manager.
