About The Position

The Quality Inspector is responsible for reviewing products during manufacturing to ensure that they meet customer standards. Besides measuring parts with mechanical inspection tools and comparing the results to a drawing or specification, a Quality Inspector will also be responsible for documenting measurements and communicating their findings and feedback to the manufacturing team.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate in an effective and friendly manner
  • Aptitude for organization and recordkeeping
  • Knowledge and understanding of print reading and GD&T
  • Proficiency with mechanical inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators, etc.
  • Experience with operating manual and/or DCC CMMs—knowledge of CMM Manager or PC-DMIS preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • Must be knowledgeable with GD&T.

  • Knowledge of CMM Manager or PC-DMIS preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform first piece, work-in-process, final, visual, and first article inspections
  • Support manufacturing with mechanical and visual inspection
  • Record and maintain quality records
  • Accurately and thoroughly communicate inspection results, findings, and useful information to the manufacturing team
  • Help with various other tasks as needed

Benefits

  • The base salary range for this full-time position is $25.91-$44.04 hourly. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
