About The Position
This position works closely with operations to ensure the quality and accuracy of incoming/outgoing production equipment.
Requirements
- Knows how to read blueprints and ISO drawings.
- Knows how to use weld inspection tools.
- Use of knowledge in ASME Section VIII and Section IX code and oilfield production equipment.

Responsibilities
- Sustains quality in correlation with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Responsible for compilation and maintenance of inspection reports and records.
- Performs internal inspection. Responsible for doing visual inspection on vessel layout, fit and weld inspections.
- Witness hydro testing on vessels and pipe spools.
- Participates in the investigation of faulty work and consult with customers and management team.
- Interacts with customers, suppliers, vendors and division personnel regarding quality and production issues.
- Attends job production pre-planning meetings.
- Complete quality management documents associated with product disposition, including non-conformance documentation.
- Audits and recommends improvement to inspection processes.
- Assist in design reviews on cross functional teams to ensure that product conforms to specifications.
