We're looking for a Quality Control Inspector to perform in-process inspections and quality verification activities that ensure aerospace components meet engineering, customer, and regulatory requirements. In this role, you'll use precision measuring equipment, technical documentation, and inspection procedures to support product quality, production flow, and compliance throughout the manufacturing process.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • 1+ years Aviation, manufacturing, or quality inspection experience.
  • 1+ years years of dimensional and visual inspection experience on aviation-related equipment, components, or assemblies.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency using precision measuring and inspection equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and spreadsheet management.
  • Ability to accurately document, evaluate, and communicate inspection results.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in an aviation-related field.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
  • Aerospace manufacturing or repair station experience.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Experience supporting root cause investigations and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process inspections to verify products meet engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality requirements.
  • Conduct receiving, production, and shipping inspections as required.
  • Utilize precision measuring and inspection equipment to evaluate product conformity.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, sampling plans, and quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances and support corrective actions.
  • Verify required manufacturing, assembly, and inspection steps have been completed before work advances to the next operation.
  • Ensure parts, assemblies, and documentation are accurately identified, tagged, and routed.
  • Maintain inspection records, travelers, routers, and quality documentation to support traceability.
  • Confirm inspection and measurement equipment is properly calibrated and suitable for use.
  • Collaborate with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues and support efficient workflow.
  • Recommend improvements to quality standards, inspection methods, and production processes.
