About The Position

The QC Inspector will work with QC Management to achieve 100% of department daily needs and priorities, providing consistent, thorough, and professional service to all departments. This role involves verifying product against blueprints, P.O.s, and manufacturing requirements using best known methods. The inspector will utilize various tools and software, including hand tools, CMM programs, Comparator, and NCMR software. Issues are to be escalated to QC Management as needed, and collaboration with other QC team members is expected. This job operates in a manufacturing shop environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds may be required. No travel is expected.

Requirements

Ability to understand the use of hand held measurement tools.
Use of CMM Software (PC DMIS, Modus)
Light Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Inspection Xpert)
Communication Proficiency
Attention to details
Work well in a team environment.
Minimum of high school diploma.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment.
Must be either; US Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Nice To Haves

Some college, technical training or ASQ certification desired.
