QC Inspector 2nd Shift
About The Position
The QC Inspector trainee learns and assists with verifying and documenting finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications, applicable quality requirements, and AWS D1.1 requirements. Under the guidance of qualified QC personnel, the trainee develops skills in dimensional layout and visual weld inspections in accordance with quality inspection procedures. Inspections must be documented on the appropriate inspection forms. Safety is a priority, and the employee is expected to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Responsibilities
- Learn and assist with verification and documentation of finished products against customer specifications, applicable quality requirements, and AWS D1.1 requirements.
- Develop skills in dimensional layout and visual weld inspections under the guidance of qualified QC personnel.
- Perform inspections in accordance with quality inspection procedures and document them on the appropriate inspection forms.
- Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
