About The Position

QC Inspectors develop quality standards within parameters set by SEC, external customers, and headquarters; perform inspections; and isolate and resolve quality issues in production processes for the Repair Depot and Special Projects areas. The position also identifies and implements process-improvement initiatives to drive quality improvements in the depot. The role is in the QA & Tech Support department and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Some overtime may be required. The posted hourly pay range is stated as $21.00–$23.00 in the listing and $21.00–$23.50 in the compensation details; actual base pay depends on factors including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.

Requirements

Previous experience auditing with gauges, including micrometers and calipers.
Knowledge of quality standards and SOPs.
Proficiency with computers.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of ISO standards is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing quality standards within the parameters set by Epson.
Conduct physical and visual inspections with minimum guidance based on the requirements of each production area.
Compile and input data into corresponding spreadsheets and/or matrices to generate required reports.
Ensure errors are corrected promptly.
Validate all documentation before submission.
Submit documentation in a timely manner.
Help identify and define problems and assist in developing solutions.
Support Specialists and Supervisors with special inspections and/or investigations.
Identify and implement process-improvement initiatives to improve depot quality.
