About The Position

The QC Inspector will work with QC Management to achieve 100% of department daily needs and priorities, providing consistent, thorough, and professional service to all departments. This role involves verifying product against blueprints, purchase orders, and manufacturing requirements using best known methods. The inspector will utilize various tools and software, escalate issues as needed, and collaborate with other team members. The job operates in a manufacturing shop environment and requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. No travel is expected.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand the use of hand held measurement tools.
  • Use of CMM Software (PC DMIS, Modus)
  • Light Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Inspection Xpert)
  • Communication Proficiency
  • Attention to details
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Minimum of high school diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment.
  • Must be either; US Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Nice To Haves

  • Some college, technical training or ASQ certification desired.

  • Ability to use the following, as instructed: Procedures, Forms, Hand tools, CMM Programs, Comparator.
  • Escalate issues to QC Management as needed.
  • Work with other QC team members as needed.
  • Use of NCMR software.
  • Other QC tasks as determined.
