About The Position

FoodScience in Williston, VT is looking to hire full-time a QC Inspector—no prior experience is needed, as we provide on-the-job training for this position. Would you like to join a company with a great culture, competitive benefits, and a supportive team? You might be the perfect fit.

The QC Inspector position starts at $20/hour with opportunities to grow. Hours are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday. FoodScience offers 9 paid holidays per year—including your birthday!—one paid week off during our yearly plant shutdown, and a competitive Paid Time Off (PTO) program that starts to accrue immediately. Requirements

• Hard-working and dependable
• Ability to understand and properly complete necessary paperwork associated with quality control
• Ability to compare numbers accurately to complete line checks

Nice To Haves

• Previous quality control experience is preferred but not required as you will be trained on the job.

Responsibilities

• Ensure top-notch quality on production lines
• Conduct internal audits
• Approve incoming components
• Keep tabs on labels and pouches with cycle counts
• Become proficient in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Master Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
• Adhere to Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Guidelines
