About The Position

The Quality Inspector is responsible for in-process and final inspections. The Quality Inspector is accountable for all products manufactured by HPNE to ensure conformance to specifications.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail
Must be able to work in a team environment with a cross functional team
Excellent communication skills
Exceptional analytical skills
Familiarity with use of rulers and calipers
High school diploma/GED
Minimum 3 years’ experience in quality control inspections required
Minimum 2 years’ experience in reviewing mechanical and electrical drawings
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

ERP experience preferred
Cleanroom experience preferred

Responsibilities

Performs in-process and final inspection of all products for conformance to specifications (inspection procedures and engineering drawings), conducting visual inspection and testing components/assemblies in production
Assists with development of inspection procedures for products manufactured by HPNE
Performs label inspections (i.e., product labels and box labels)
Maintains and records quality testing information within a batch record
Performs thorough batch record review prior to accepting product lot for release
Completes all quality tasks within established HPNE guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Maintains work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
Applies principles of cGMP and ISO Standards
Trains other employees
Supports continuous improvement and elimination of waste from processes and methods
Reads blueprints and specifications to ensure that production standards are met
Uses measuring tools such as calipers and various gauges to ensure correct dimensions
