About The Position

The Quality Control Inspector I examines incoming and outgoing parts and supplies to ensure they meet manufacturing standards. This role involves inspecting products using various tools and machines prior to shipment, generating spreadsheets for data collection, and reconciling and filing final inspection documentation. The inspector will also interact with source inspectors as needed and inspect raw materials.

• Able to learn to use and read a tape measure.
• Able to learn to use and read micrometers, caliper, and use calibration gauges.
• Able to learn to use and read additional measuring tools.

• Learn how to communicate with quality, manufacturing, and engineering to solve problems.
• Learn how to organize a demanding workload to ensure all products leaving the facility have been properly inspected and are of the highest quality.
• Must have a basic understanding of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, oscilloscope and vision prior to shipment.
• Generate spreadsheets for data collection.
• Reconcile and file final inspection documentation for shipments.
• Interact with source inspector as needed.
• Inspect raw materials.
