About The Position
Silent-Aire Limited Partnership, a subsidiary of Johnson Controls, is seeking a QC Inspector Electrical for their facility in Nisku. This technology-driven company designs, engineers, and manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions. The role involves ensuring the quality of manufactured units through various inspection processes and maintaining control documentation. Reliable transportation to the Nisku facility is required.

- Knowledge of QA/QC control documentation.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain QA/QC control documentation.
- Organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos provided by inspectors.
- Perform daily inspections of in-process units, ensuring sealing is completed, no parts are missing, and all other in-process inspections are of high quality.
- Ensure productions are inspected as determined by company requirements, checking of paperwork.
- Perform daily inspection of paperwork for all in-process units and report any deficiencies to the Quality Supervisor.
- Complete sub-assembly inspections (motor, coil, evap., furnace, paint).
- Complete unit final inspections.
- Review inspection documents and make unit packages.
- Report any observed safety issues to the Safety Coach or Safety Coordinator.
- Assist with the education of other inspectors and production team members.
- Inspect drawings and marking/breaking work to ensure correctness.
- Assist with Engineering changes where drawings are not correct and submit to the Quality Supervisor.
- Inspect all aspects of units with the appropriate forms from beginning to end and record all discrepancies.
- Organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos.
- Perform all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code.
- Perform other duties as required.
