About The Position

This job opening is for a QC Inspector with CWB Level 2 certification, focusing on Stainless Steel Inspection, primarily for piping and mechanical components. The role is located in Edmonton and Area, AB, with a duration of 3+ months. The rotation is 14 days on and 7 days off, with 10 hours of work per day. This position offers an excellent opportunity for qualified professionals in Quality Control and serves as a platform for future opportunities within the company. Applicants will be considered for future positions and may be integrated into the company's new web app for enhanced communication and project management.

Requirements

• Fabrication Shop experience
• Structural Steel experience
• CWB Level 2 Certification
• Knowledge of stainless steel and piping inspections
• Familiarity with mechanical and structural drawings
• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and documentation
• CSTS Safety Ticket
• WHMIS Safety Ticket
• First Aid Safety Ticket
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Responsibilities

• Perform Stainless Steel Inspection - Piping (mostly) and Mechanical
• Fabrication Shop experience
• Structural Steel experience
• Conduct inspections using CWB Level 2 knowledge
• Inspect stainless steel and piping
• Review mechanical and structural drawings
• Apply strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and documentation
• Utilize safety tickets (CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid)
• Communicate effectively and provide reports
• Work independently and within a team environment
