QC Analyst I
About The Position
Performs required sampling (environmental, water, compressed air, and nitrogen) in accordance with CSL/Compendial methods and properly documents in appropriate records and LIMS systems. Position is in the QC Sample Management Group – QC Sampling Team. Under general supervision, carries out production-related tests and inspections to control quality. Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintains compliance to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulatory guidelines. Gains an awareness of cGMP and maintains compliance with these regulations. Maintains clean and safe working area and equipment.
Requirements
- BS/BA related science (Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry)
- 0-2 years lab experience
- Knowledge of cGMP standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QC systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Capacity to work independently or in a team environment
- Effective oral and written communications
- Interpersonal Savvy
Responsibilities
- Sampling/collecting of all routine Environmental and Utility Monitoring samples for the site.
- Maintains accurate, complete, legible and concurrent records of work performed and enters results in the LIMS system.
- Follows schedules and meets deadlines.
- Communicates aberrant results to laboratory supervision immediately.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of the LIMS computer system. Enters data and results into the system.
- Follows company and departmental policies.
- Completes other duties as assigned by Laboratory Management.
