About The Position

The QAQC Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements within the organization. This position involves conducting detailed inspections, testing, and analysis to identify defects or deviations from specifications, thereby safeguarding product integrity and customer satisfaction. The analyst collaborates closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. By maintaining comprehensive documentation and quality records, the QAQC Analyst supports compliance with industry standards and internal policies. Ultimately, this role contributes to minimizing risks, reducing costs associated with rework or recalls, and enhancing overall operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance roles, preferably within manufacturing or production environments.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and relevant industry standards such as ISO 9001.
  • Proficiency in using quality testing equipment and software tools for data analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong analytical and observational skills daily to assess product quality and identify deviations from standards.
  • Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with various departments and reporting findings clearly and accurately.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools enables the analyst to interpret quality metrics and drive informed decision-making.
  • Problem-solving skills are applied to investigate root causes of quality issues and develop corrective actions.
  • Organizational skills ensure meticulous documentation and compliance with regulatory and company standards, supporting audit readiness and continuous improvement efforts.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification such as ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA).
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to the industry, such as FDA, EPA, or other applicable bodies.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Experience working with ERP or quality management software systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards.
  • Analyze data from quality tests and inspections to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions based on quality findings.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed quality documentation, including test results, inspection reports, and compliance records.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and facilitating audit activities.
  • Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and protocols to enhance effectiveness.
  • Monitor adherence to safety and quality regulations and standards throughout the production process.
