About The Position

This role involves designing and executing tests to ensure software quality. The candidate will be responsible for creating test plans, scripts, and environments, as well as performing various types of testing. Collaboration with technical and non-technical teams, as well as understanding the business domain, are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience designing automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
• 8 years of experience in prioritizing test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios.
• 8 years of experience in creating test plans, test cases, and preparing test environments.
• 8 years of experience in performing moderately complex functional, application, and regression testing.
• 8 years of knowledge of the software development life cycle and software development methodologies.
• 8 years of experience interpreting requirement documents and able to update test documents accordingly.
• 8 years of strong familiarity with analysis, planning and management reporting functions.
• 8 years of experience acquiring knowledge of the Customer's business in assigned area.
• 8 years of strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• 8 years of ability to work with Customer as needed during test cycle.
• 8 years of excellent analytical, problem-solving, team playing, and oral and written communication skills.
• 8 years of proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates.
• 2 years of familiarity with company's information architecture and information management methodologies.
• 2 years of familiarity with the existing and planned software technology and the global, regional and local software architecture and infrastructure components.

Responsibilities

• Design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
• Prioritize test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
• Create test plans, test cases, and prepare test environments.
• Perform moderately complex functional, application, and regression testing.
• Interpret requirement documents and update test documents accordingly.
• Acquire knowledge of the Customer's business in assigned area.
• Work with Customer as needed during test cycle.
