About The Position

We are seeking a skilled QA Tester with a strong understanding of Jira and test case writing. The role involves reading design documents and creating test cases. The ideal candidate will have experience in an Agile environment and a solid understanding of testing web applications built on Angular and Java. Specialized expertise in interface testing, API integrations, and Kofax capture solutions is required. Proficiency in Jira and XRAY for test case management and traceability is essential. The role emphasizes test strategy and documentation over execution.

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of software quality assurance experience in an Agile environment.
• Solid understanding of testing web applications built on Angular (frontend) and Java (backend/microservices architectures).
• Demonstrated experience in designing test cases for Interface Testing (APIs, web services, system-to-system integrations).
• Hands-on test design experience with Kofax capture and document automation solutions.
• Extensive experience with Jira for tracking and requirement alignment.
• Proficiency in XRAY for test case management, execution mapping, and requirements traceability.
• Ability to review technical specifications, API payloads, and component interactions to craft precise, high-value test cases.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex test scenarios clearly to developers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain comprehensive, clear, and reusable test cases, scenarios, and test plans based on business requirements, system specifications, and integration flows.
• Author detailed test cases covering end-to-end interface testing, API integrations, data exchanges, and communication channels between system components.
• Design specialized test scenarios for Kofax capture, transformation, and document processing solutions, ensuring seamless data extraction, validation, and workflow routing.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand feature requirements and identify edge cases early in the development lifecycle.
• Organize, structure, and maintain all testing documentation and traceability matrices using XRAY and Jira.
• Perform exploratory or targeted validation only when strictly necessary, focusing the vast majority of your effort on robust test strategy and documentation.
