About The Position

The QA Tester will test the enterprise application to meet the project objectives and support new or expanding business objectives. This will include requirements review/analysis, creating test cases, test case execution and creating defects for the new or updated software applications. Candidate must have technical proficiency for testing Software Applications along with proficiency in Jira. Candidates should be able to participate in the entire development lifecycle from design through deployment. Ability to perform requirements review, write test cases, automate test cases, execute test cases, and create defects is essential. Be able to communicate to the Project Team for defects/issues identified during testing. The QA Tester will work in an Agile Team environment to perform software application testing to verify and validate the application requirements are covered, to and improve our internal and client-facing environment. The QA Tester will be working in a supportive and fast-paced team with the development team and opportunities to increase your professional knowledge.

Requirements

6+ years’ experience with Microfocus Test Tools ALM
6+ years’ experience with Jira
10+ years’ extensive experience in Testing Reports.
10+ years’ experience with SQL skills to write SQLs to fetch data from PS tables, for validating table data and testing.
10+ years’ experience communicating with project management, clients, and other developers to ensure effective collaboration throughout the testing phase.
10+ years’ experience in the entire development lifecycle from design through deployment.
8+ years’ experience to perform requirements review, write test cases, execute test cases, and create defects is essential.
6+ years’ experience adapting functional business requirements/processes to technical solutions based upon enterprise application solution sets
6+ years’ experience with one or more of following: investment analysis, data warehousing, e-commerce, ROI analysis, HR analysis, info dissemination
10+ years’ experience with ERP management processes such as knowledge mgmt., supply chain mgmt., material mgmt., logistics, and procurement.
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Jira

Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, ACCELQ etc.)

Responsibilities

Performing Software Application Testing of customized solutions within the software platform to support critical business functions and meet the project objectives, client use requirements and company goals.
Write automated test scripts based on the User Stories and develop a methodology
Knowledge of the database understanding and schemas to validate the test results
Knowledge in API testing and understanding the wireframes in Figma/XD
Maintaining a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully.
Direct interaction with clients, managers, and end users is necessary to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications, and interactions with internal and external instances.
Automate test cases using test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, ACCELQ etc.).
Use defect tracking tools JIRA and manage defect lifecycle.
