About The Position

Tuknik Government Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is recruiting a QA Test Engineer to support a U.S. Army customer on a large-scale contracting systems modernization and automation program. The position is a future new business opportunity and contingent on final contract authorization; the opening, employing subsidiary, compensation, work location, and staffing are subject to that authorization. The role plans and executes functional verification, turning requirements and acceptance criteria into Government-visible evidence across Appian logic, APIs, workflows, interfaces, security roles, data, accessibility, regression, and user acceptance. Work may be performed remotely when authorized, at Government facilities, or in controlled office and data-center environments. Work involving classified information or SIPRNet will take place at a Government-approved secure location using authorized systems. The role generally supports Government business hours, with occasional release, incident-response, maintenance-window, or approved travel requirements. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Experience validating Federal acquisition, financial, records-management, or other audit-sensitive workflows.
  • ISTQB, Appian, accessibility, or Agile testing certification.
  • Functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing experience.
  • Appian and workflow test design experience.
  • API, data, security, and accessibility validation experience.
  • Defect analysis and traceability experience.
  • Experience producing Government-visible test evidence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test strategies, plans, cases, data, expected results, traceability, and execution schedules for changes and migration waves.
  • Test Appian expression rules, application logic, interfaces, Record Types, process models, security groups, and business workflows.
  • Assess and reuse Government-furnished FitNesse/Selenium assets before creating replacement or supplemental regression tests.
  • Execute smoke, functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, negative, accessibility, role-based access, and user-acceptance testing.
  • Validate APIs, authentication, schemas, transformations, error handling, and external interface behavior using approved tools.
  • Verify migration reconciliation, document-to-record relationships, calculations, permissions, audit history, and reporting parity.
  • Record defects with reproducible evidence, severity, expected behavior, affected requirements, and retest results.
  • Maintain test evidence and release-readiness status in Government-approved repositories and dashboards.
  • Support deployment verification, rollback testing, production observation, and escaped-defect analysis.
