About The Position
Kent Quality Foods, Inc. is a premier manufacturer of specialty meat products seeking candidates for the position of Quality Assurance Technician at our Grand Rapids location. This position will be responsible for monitoring our process and making sure it is in compliance with USDA and company guidelines. The job requires a pro-active person with a strong work ethic who can be depended upon to work independently.
Requirements
- Knowledge of food processing and food safety
- Able to operate independently - self motivated
- Strong personality, not afraid of conflict
- Capable of communicating effectively
- Need to have knowledge of GMP, HACCP
- Need to have an inspector mind set
- Employee must be trained in and fully conscious of food safety
Responsibilities
- Monitoring our process
- Making sure the process is in compliance with USDA and company guidelines
- Need to be able to stop production in case the need arises
