The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for executing corporate and plant specific Food Safety, Quality and Laboratory requirements. This role ensures product quality and compliance by interpreting manufacturing and engineering requirements and developing, executing, and refining analytical testing methods and procedures. The technician will also develop and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and QA protocols, ensuring alignment with GMP, GLP, and GDP standards for ESL and aseptic processing. Collaboration with leadership, production, and maintenance teams is key to optimizing plant performance, improving product quality, and enhancing operational efficiency and safety. The role involves administering and continuously improving the Quality Control program, monitoring internal quality KPIs, and ensuring strict adherence to GMP standards. Oversight of sanitation and housekeeping, driving consistency in quality systems, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives are also core functions. Additionally, the QA Technician will assist in training personnel, communicate quality performance to production teams, safeguard company assets, and maintain a high standard of workplace organization.
