About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented, self-driven Quality Assurance Technician to join our fast-paced production team and help uphold the highest standards in food manufacturing. This role thrives in a hands-on environment where confident decisions can be made with minimal supervision. The position is available for the 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm) or 3rd Shift (10:00pm - 6:00am). As a key player in our quality assurance team, you’ll be on the front lines of food safety and compliance.

Requirements

Experience in a food manufacturing QA role with working knowledge of HACCP and GMPs preferred
Basic math skills and a keen eye for detail
Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs., standing, walking, bending, and climbing as needed
Ability to navigate between production floor and office tasks
Strong communication skills—written and verbal
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
A proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and with cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

AA degree in a science-related field

Responsibilities

Inspecting, sampling, testing, and weighing product to ensure it meets specifications
Receiving, testing, and releasing raw materials and finished products
Identifying non-compliant products and initiating hold procedures
Observing production processes and adjusting when necessary to maintain quality
Conducting allergen testing and monitoring critical control points (CCPs) daily
Performing and documenting pre-operation inspections and routine audits
Supporting customer, SQF, third-party, and internal audits
Reviewing product labels for accuracy and compliance
Upholding all GMP, HACCP, personal hygiene, and safety protocols
Pitching in on other QA tasks as assigned
