About The Position

The QA Technician I will utilize their expertise in product and inspection methodologies to conduct accurate assessments of both in-process and finished products, thereby providing essential support to the growth and fabrication teams. Responsibilities will include inspection and documentation, packaging, reporting of nonconformances, and active participation in quality improvement initiatives. Perform inspection of in-process and finished goods, ensuring accurate documentation to support internal and customer requirements. Responsible for packaging, product preservation, and labeling for shipment. Requires moderate inspection experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Must be able to read specifications and work instructions, relying on senior technicians for troubleshooting and complex tasks.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with quality inspection techniques is a plus
  • Comfortable using MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
  • Mechanical aptitude with good hands-on skills
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Encourages and supports teamwork
  • Eager to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical inspection of finished products and incoming material to ensure units meet with the customer’s specifications.
  • Accurately complete all necessary documentation of inspection results.
  • Recommends rejections of any items not meeting established criteria to a senior technician.
  • Maintaining the proper flow of work orders to the appropriate personnel to ensure the closing of the work orders will be completed properly.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, neat, and orderly area.
  • Responsible for validating that inspection equipment is calibrated and working correctly prior to use.
