Supervise, schedule and lead QA Technicians and team members, ensuring safe food handling practices and regulatory compliance. This role involves monitoring the plant floor for quality and food safety issues, communicating with USDA team members, and providing training for weekly QA meetings. The QA Supervisor will also monitor sample submission forms before packing, perform QA hold releases and transactions, and assist with WH transfers. Additionally, this position supports the implementation of programs and procedures, creates and maintains production and quality paperwork, orders supplies, and oversees hold releases. The supervisor will communicate when products are out of specification with management and technicians, assist in audit preparations and execution (customer, corporate, and third party), and ensure compliance with regulatory programs. Document reviews for completion and accuracy are also a key responsibility, along with performing other relevant duties as required.
