Job Summary Follows policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations | Follows and/ or develops, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes through standard procedures & systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 & AS9100 standards), quality audits/ review process, etc. Responsibilities are within the Quality Assurance Methods Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines Impact of the Role General Profile Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines Solves complex problems Works independently, receives minimal guidance May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and implements quality assurance policies, procedures & review cycles
  • Manages internal audit program; internal & customer required audit schedules, leads audits, and creates audit reports
  • Evaluates audit findings and aids in the implementation of appropriate corrective actions
  • Maintains and improves Quality Management System and generate reports as needed
  • Creates, updates & leads Quality training as needed
  • May administer the material review boards & database
  • May also lead or support various projects as assigned
