This role follows policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations. It also involves following and/or developing, assuring, and maintaining the quality of products and processes through standard procedures & systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 & AS9100 standards), quality audits/ review process, etc. Responsibilities are within the Quality Assurance Methods Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines. The impact of the role is that of a General Profile requiring working knowledge and experience in own job discipline and broadens capabilities. The individual continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers, performs a range of assignments related to job discipline, uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations, and receives a moderate level of guidance and direction with consistent exercise of discretion & judgment.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and implements Quality Assurance policies, procedures & review cycles
  • Maintains and updates internal audit programs and required audit schedules
  • Participates in audits and creates audit reports
  • Evaluates audit findings and aids in the implementation of appropriate corrective actions
  • Maintains and improves Quality Management System and generate reports as needed
  • Creates, updates & leads Quality training as needed
  • May administer the material review boards & database
  • May also lead or support various projects as assigned
