This role follows policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations. It also involves following and/or developing, assuring, and maintaining the quality of products and processes through standard procedures & systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 & AS9100 standards), quality audits/ review process, etc. Responsibilities are within the Quality Assurance Methods Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines. The impact of the role is that of a General Profile requiring working knowledge and experience in own job discipline and broadens capabilities. The individual continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers, performs a range of assignments related to job discipline, uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations, and receives a moderate level of guidance and direction with consistent exercise of discretion & judgment.

Requirements

Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

Prepares and implements Quality Assurance policies, procedures & review cycles
Maintains and updates internal audit programs and required audit schedules
Participates in audits and creates audit reports
Evaluates audit findings and aids in the implementation of appropriate corrective actions
Maintains and improves Quality Management System and generate reports as needed
Creates, updates & leads Quality training as needed
May administer the material review boards & database
May also lead or support various projects as assigned
